I had always wanted to visit Praia Baleal, and choosing the Guesthouse for its prime beachfront location was a great decision. The free WiFi throughout the property was a pleasant surprise, and I really enjoyed exploring the medieval village of Óbidos with its charming restaurants, cafés, shops, and establishments serving Ginjinha.
Minor cleanliness issues and old towels.

The location of the guesthouse was perfect, with both the beach and a supermarket nearby. It was just a short walk to two different beaches, making it convenient for guests who wanted to spend their days by the ocean. The supermarket being close by was also a plus, as it provided easy access to groceries and any other necessities guests might need.
One downside was that there was no heating in the bathroom, which made it feel cold during the winter months.

Had a blast during my Christmas stay! Met awesome people and the vibe was super chill. the location was perfect for surfing and I loved that I could leave my board at the hotel. the fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer, making it easy to cook meals. Plus, the beach was just a short walk away!
The attic room was a bit tricky with the slanted ceiling, so watch out for those head bumps. the bathroom was a bit chilly, but luckily there was an electric heater.

I recently stayed at Baleal Guesthouse for a week-long surf trip and it was absolutely amazing. The house itself is warm and inviting, with a great atmosphere and friendly people. Bruno, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and tailored to my needs. The location is perfect, just a two-minute walk to the beach and close to shops, bars, and surf schools. The accommodation is clean and well-maintained, with lockers and drawers in the rooms for easy organization. There's also a spacious common area with a fully-equipped kitchen and even a coworking space. I felt right at home and would definitely stay here again!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Communal kitchen with communal dining area: I felt like a master chef preparing my meals, while enjoying the company of other guests. It was like being on my own cooking show, creating culinary masterpieces with newfound friends.
Squeaky and shaky beds: The beds were a bit temperamental, making me feel like I was on a rollercoaster ride every time I moved. But hey, it added a little excitement to my sleep!
